I know this is late or that it even matters now....but I am not at the Village Underground on Fridays anymore; clashes with the owner. However I will be playing Rockwood at 196 Allen St btwn E Houston and Stanton St. NY on May 21st at 6:00pm. It will be a 45-50 set of me playing and singing Nina Simone, Sondheim, a little Ray Charles .........
If you're not rushing home after work please come by hang out.
I have other talks in the works regarding future venues so stay tuned.

Marituis
February 10, 2007 by Rosalyn McClore
Hi Everybody,
My band has been hired to perform on the island of Marituis in April. I'm really excited about it. It's a big fancy affair. And, I get to go to a beautiful island for a week. Looks like although I don't have a lot of affairs in New York, I'll certainly be a woman of the world. Stay tuned kids!

I was asked back to perform at Lincoln Center in the fall. I did a performance there last year and it was really a magical night. I 'm looking forward to it again. The performance date is 10-19-06.

Comments from a Non Winner
April 21, 2006 by Rosalyn McClore
I attended the awards show on 4-17-06 presented by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets. I did not win the MAC Award. I was up for debut artist. It was interesting for me that many of the recipients did not know for what they were being awarded. Phoebe Snow was dumbfounded. She received a directors award. She asked for someone to explain what she had directed and why she was a recipient.
From what I understand it's no big deal to win or lose. I'm still learning this cabaret world. Anyway, if it doesn't put asses in the seats who cares. Well.....I did, just a little. Whenever you're a contender for something it's nice to win. But...onward and upward. There is always another year. Preparing for a new show in October at Helen's. Stay tuned kids.
